CARA BONGKAR PASANG DAN GANTI BEZEL UNTUK BLACKBERRY CURVE 8900
You need these tools to continue:
- High quality T5 screwdriver
- High quality T6 screwdriver
- D - Metal Tweezers
1. First of all, make sure you have the right bezel. Seriously.

2. Turn off the phone and remove the battery/sim card/memory card. I was in a hurry and forgot about the memory and sim cards. Remove the bottom cover at the highlighted points. NOTE: It has some glue on it, so it may stick a little.

3. Remove all 6 screws. (The last two are under the bottom cover, I took some pictures out of order..) The midplate should almost pop right off once the 6 screws are removed. Set the midplate aside. (use T5 and T6 ScrewDriver available at bakulgadget.com)

4. Pop off the top cover. Other than the screws that were holding it in, there should be nothing holding it in.

5 + 6. Notice the 4 clips holding the motherboard tray. Pull the clips back and remove the tray.. Gently.

7. This is what you should end up with. Set apart the motherboard tray for now.

8. The trackball should come right out. Wiggle the keyboard out.

That was the easy part!
9. Notice the contacts on the top of the bezel. YOU MUST move these over to the new bezel for the mute/lock buttons to work!

10. Highlighted are the back of the contacts. You will notice that they go down a slit in the housing to the back. Do not rip the front and back apart.. they are one piece. Do one contact at a time to use the other as a reference.

11. The contacts are only stuck on with glue. Use a pair of tweezers (I used my little knife) to GENTLY and CAREFULLY lift and peel off the contact. (Use D-Metal Tweezer. Available at bakulgadget.com)

12.Should look like this when it is peeled all the way.

13. Do the same with the contact on the back.. be very gentle. You need tweezers.. Slide the contact into place on the NEW bezel, using the one that is still attached as a reference. Make sure the glue sticks. Repeat for the other contact.

14. There should be a little seal on the back side of the bezel over the microphone. DO NOT RIP IT OFF! You need to use a sharp tool to get UNDER it and remove it with its glue/sticky stuff. Be persistent.. it is a tricky little bastard. Once you get it off, replace it on the new bezel.

15. Yay! Another little seal in the front. Again, patience and gentleness are your friends. Remove it and replace it on the new bezel.

16. Lastly, there is a screen you must transfer. With all things delicate, be gentle once more. I used my knife.. again.

17. Should look something like this once it is completed.

18. Replace the keyboard and trackball.

19. Clip the motherboard tray back in. Replace the mideplate and start screwing the screws in at the bottom. THE BLACK SCREWS GO IN THE MIDDLE SLOTS! (Highlighted). Do not screw in the top 2 screws yet. Pop the bottom cover back on.
20. Replace the top cover, and hold it in place while you screw the top 2 screws back in. At this point, you should have all 6 screws in.

21. Replace the sim card, memory card, and battery. Wait for the 8900 to boot up and make sure your mute/lock keys work. Enjoy.

CARA BONGKAR BLACKBERRY CURVE 8300
You need these tools to continue:
- High quality T5 screwdriver
- High quality T6 screwdriver
Remove the battery cover, and the two T-5 screws at the top.

Next, remove the bottom piece. This may require some GENTLE prying from the hole that is located somewhat underneath it. Be very careful with this step, try and pull the piece away. The brown ribbon underneath is the antenna, and if this is damaged then you will have 0 reception.

Next, gently pull back the side pieces. Note that these are still attached at the bottom, you simply want to loosen the clips. This step may not be necessary, but I have found that it lets the front come off more easily.

Then, gently remove the front plate. There may be a seal between the front faceplate and the LCD that will want to stick to LCD. You may need to replace this seal if it does not come off in one piece. Once this step is done the keyboard will be lose and may just fall out, depending on how you are holding the device.

Now, remove the 2 bottom screws using a T-6 driver.

Next, remove the 2 center screws, using your T-6 driver.

This will separate the back and center pieces.

At this point you can access the LCD and all internal workings of the device. Simply reverse the directions to reassemble. I have noticed that the side pieces should go on TOP on the metal around the LCD for the best fit, even though it looks at first like they should go between the metal and the circuit board.
If removal of the lcd is necessary (for example: you got the device wet and want to alcohol wash the circuit board) the lcd display is delicate and is stuck to the circuit board pretty good. it is recommended to use a credit card between the display and the circuit board to gently pry the display off of the circuit board.
Do this in a clean environment, and it is recommended to wear gloves, as fingerprints on the screen are quite the pain to remove.
